Moose Skewers

Inggredients:
1 moose or wild game roast
1 jalepino sliced
1/4 onion diced
1/2 stick softened cream cheese
Soy sauce
Garlic powder
Bacon

Take roast and cut against the grain into thin slices. Place paper towel over meat to soak up juice, then take meat mallet or other heavy object (we used a heavy rolling pin) and beat slice until very thin and tender. Lay in plate with soy sauce, sprinkle with garlic salt. Flip and repeat. Remove meat and spread with thin layer of cream cheese. Sprinkle with onions and jalepinos. Roll tightly, then wrap in bacon. Skewer with toothpicks or kabob skewer. Grill or bake in oven set to 500 degrees until meat is cooked, about 15-20 minutes in the oven. Enjoy!!! This is our new favorite way to make moose!

Roast for sandwich meat

1 moose roast or other wild game roast
Mrs. Dash

Preheat oven to 475. Press Mrs. Dash into all sides of the roast. Set in a shallow dish. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Drop heat to 275 without opening the oven door. Bake until a meat thermometer inserted says 155 degrees. This takes about. Let rest for about 20 minutes after removing from oven. Cut thin across the grain and enjoy on a sandwich!
